Origin: While we all love the traditional versions of our favorite teas, sometimes we crave a brew with a little more depth, character, and elegance. This is why Darjeeling teas are known as the “Champagne of Teas.” Darjeeling gets its flavor from unique harvesting, rolling, and the specific Indian terroir giving this tea a lighter, less “bitey” quality than most black teas, yet more layered and complex than green teas.

1 - 2 large teaspoons (2 grams) per 8oz cup of less than boiled water, preferably 195F or less.

*Brewing Tip: As with all black tea, steeping for longer times and at higher temperatures, will only activate more tannins increasing astringency and bitterness. Instead, use more tea for a stronger, bolder brew, or use less tea at lower temps for a softer, more mild flavor.

Sample size provides at least 4 servings. 1.52oz pkg provides at least 17 brewed cups.

CAUTION: Do NOT pour hot or boiled water into any plastic pitchers or containers, ever.
