Origin: The worldly popular Earl Grey black tea blend is said to have been either created for or by Charles, the Second Earl Grey, and British Prime Minister from 1830-1834. In spite of historically notable political achievements, Charles is fondly remembered throughout history for the tea bearing his name. According to Grey family lore, the tea was blended especially with bergamot oil to help balance the flavor of minerals, like lime, in the water at Howick Hall in Northumberland. Earl Grey’s mixture was supposedly used by Countess Grey when entertaining in London, which is how it became so popular.
Cuppa Culture's all organic London Garden Grey blend uses a delicate, green tea base instead of the traditional black tea for a softer, crisper version. Natural oil of bergamot and organic lavender petals contribute to the slight citrus and floral notes of this tea.
Lavender is believed to calm nerves, soothe anxiety, aid in better sleep, improve skin health, relieve minor aches & pains, as well as a long list of other health and wellness benefits.

1 large, heaping teaspoon (or 2.5-3 grams) per 8oz cup of less than boiled water, preferably 175F or less, so as not to burn & damage these delicate leaves.
*Brewing Tip: As with all green tea, before pouring the heated water over the leaves, test the temperature on your lips or tongue. If the water scorches your delicate skin, then it will do the same to the delicate tea leaves.
Sample size provides at least 4 servings. 1.5oz pkg provides at least 14 brewed cups. Adjust the amount of tea according to your personal taste. Use more tea for a stronger brew. Use less tea for a milder flavor.
Pre-measured tea packs contain 2 easy-to-brew pouches. One pouch brews 32oz of tea; the perfect size for a standard English Pot of Tea. Two pouches together will brew 64oz, the standard household pitcher or half-a-gallon, just the right amount for Iced Tea.
For a quick Iced Tea preparation, steep both pouches together in 32oz of water per the temperature & steeping time suggested. Then finish by adding the strongly brewed tea to cold water and/or ice to fill your standard 64oz pitcher. You can remove the pouch(s) at any time once the flavor you desire is achieved. Sweeten & garnish to your liking.
CAUTION: Do NOT pour hot or boiled water into any plastic pitchers or containers, ever.
